Well I live in Bopal, a suburb of Ahmedabad , not Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh . But like the proverbial big brother all my Serach Engines invariably throw up Bhopal for any search that i do . This blog is dedicated to perhaps bring in Bopal to search engines.
Bopal a quintessential small village at one time is now an extension of Ahmedabad with the madness thrown in . There was a time Bopal used to be at least 5 degrees less in temperature than Ahmedabad city , but soon I guess we will overtake Ahmedabad in that. GEB office used to be in Sanand and Khodiyar Provisions the only shop around .
A complaint with GEB could take anywhere between 2 to 48 hours as we were in rural Gujarat compared to our richer cousins using AEC.Now everything has changed , garbage , narrow roads , indiscriminate constructions , sewage , Bopal is now South Bopal , North Bopal whatever.
Schools have made a homestay thanks to cheap land and we have multitudes of them clogging up traffic everywhere in the morning . A place like Sterling city has more than six of them , with a road that could have actually accommodated a bullock cart ,perhaps a large one . We have International Baccaulaureate to State Boards , English speaking classes to our own Bone setter( Hardvaid).
